Merry Christmas!

I just love this sweet rendition of the Christmas story, it made me smile, it made me laugh and it made me cry. I love the little star jumping up and down. I imagine that little star calling out saying “here I am, here I am, come follow me, come see the new born king!”

I always get lost in the imagery of that night so long ago. I picture the angels appearing and filling the sky, rejoicing together in song. What a glorious sight and sound that must have been. The sweet little baby that came in the still of night, so precious, so tinny yet he would grow to be so mighty, so powerful, so loving. The three wise men who journeyed so long and so far to come before the new born king. Laying everything they have out for him, a king who at the time could do nothing for them yet they came to worship and adore him. So amazing, so wonderful. Thank you God for sending your son for us. That you loved and adored us so much to give us the gift of this precious baby.

Jesus came so that there would be peace on earth so that is also my prayer this Christmas, peace, love and comfort to all.
