Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Isaiah 60 v1-3

I feel that God is calling us to rise.

He is calling out to us to rise up, to rise to the occasion, to rise to the challenge, to rise and be a shining light to this world, to rise above our past and above our circumstances.

He no longer wants us to be hidden, to be just another nameless face in a sea of people but He wants us to stand out and be seen and heard for He is shining His light upon us.

We carry within us His heart, wisdom, spirit and love and He wants us to reveal them to the world. The world is crying out, she is searching and seeking for something more than this life and we carry the answer she is looking for within us.

He wants us to arise and shine for He is setting His glory over us so that we can be a light to the nation, so that we can deliver them and set them free.
